Team manager for Mens Artistic Gymnastics Mohd Zamri
Din was impressed with the achievement of the State gymnasts.
This time around, they competed against national
gymnasts, and the possibility of winning medals in Sukma
is definitely there, he said.
As for the mens gymnasts, he said the States
chances of winning medals (Sukma) is good in the individual
apparatus event.
Their performance has improved. They created a
lot of unexpected results and that is based on the performance
that they have achieved, he added.
He said they have two training centres in Sandakan
and Kota Kinabalu.
At the moment, gymnasts are undergoing intensive
training at both centres, said Zamri, adding that
the just concluded championship was used mainly to pin
point the weaknesses of State gymnasts. FRANCIS
